Momentum Cyclone Watch

For any Sox fan who survived the 1970s, you know the 2011 season is significantly better than most of the seasons we endured during that decade.   As a young teen, I attended more than 30 games in 1970 when the team won only 56 games and lost 106.   His backup, Tyler Flowers, struggled last year but  has come back to look like prospect they acquired a few years ago from the Braves for Javier Vasquez. Regardless of the frustration so many White Sox fans have felt this season, the team has a good pitching staff, decent defense and if the bats can stay consistent over the final stretch, they may have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs.   The Cubs have struggled all year, made a general manager change and now must look to the future. Try to envision getting through the summer of 1970 with that record, finishing 42 games behind the first-place Twins....

The Cobalt V Watch is Making a Splash
